Honoring our experiences...

Have you ever been to a store or restaurant and had a problem with the service or product? Today I had that experience and when I spoke with the manager, he shared a lot of excuses but not once said, “I am sorry, that should not have happened.” As I walked away shaking my head, I realized how much I longed to have him validate my experience. I didn’t care about the reasons why it happened. I just wanted him to see me, honor what I experienced and say, “I am sorry.” So, today I am working on honoring my experiences.
